We will be working with the Economics textbook for this coming week. The reading will be chapters 1-3 (however, I cut out a lot of the reading that was not necessary) Please read the chapters and be ready to discuss it in class. There is also an assignment to complete. All readings and homework sheet is provided in the email.
Both assignments are to be handed in on the second class of the week.
1st Homework: (Due for class on Thursday or Friday Oct 24-Oct 25)
Read all three chapters (31 pages total) and complete the assignment that is also attached to the email. Please use the template prepared for you (attached to the email). There are terms to be defined and short answer questions to answer. Please use your own words when defining a term or answering a question. Using the wording from the textbook will be considered plagiarism.
2nd Homework: (Due for class on Thursday or Friday Oct 24-25)
Current Events #5-
Type, print, and staple together your new Current Events assignment for the week.

Instead of the two CNN articles being from the "World" and "Politics" sections, you must select two articles from "Business" or "Money" sections.
To confirm, your Current Events Assignment will have two articles from CNN (both must come from either the "business" or "money" sections), one article from NY-Times Op-Ed (either Friedman, Krugman, or Kristof), and one article from TheNation.com.
***Last reminder, both homeworks are to be handed in on the second class of the week. However, be prepared to talk about the terms and the readings the first class.****
